The village of Santa Tecla
S.Tecla is a small village of farmers and fishermen. We mainly grow citrus fruits and the famous "verdello" lemon, typical of Sicily. The products of the sea are many: anchovies, mullets, groupers, cuttlefish, shrimps, dentex, octopus. In the village you will find everything you need: supermarket, bakeries, tobacco, post office, ice cream parlor, bar, not to mention the different restaurants and pizzerias where you can enjoy many culinary specialties. In the evening the village meets in the square, where events are often organized. The coastline is made of lava stone, then volcanic rocks, except for a pebble beach. In the village there is a small port where you can rent boats. S.Tecla is located near the Timpa Nature Reserve of Acireale, an area of particular naturalistic and landscape interest.
The Residence Trinacria is located a few steps from the sea, enjoys a splendid view of the Gulf of S.Tecla and Mount Etna. Given the position it is possible to visit all the most famous tourist locations in Eastern Sicily (among the many Acireale, Catania, Taormina, Etna Park and Nebrodi, Siracusa, Ragusa and Piazza Armerina).
The address is Via Canale Torto n.174, S.Tecla di Acireale (CT) - 95024
